Convention-goers boost FranPAC donations more than $150k.The International Franchise Association's Political action committee, FranPAC, tallied donations from is popular events conducted during the association's annual convention to the figure of $151,770 to aid franchise-friendly lawmakers. The "365" Club, the VIP reception with former President Bill Clinton and the Silent Auction again bolstered contributions. Those left standing after the bidding, walked away with such treasures as Red Sox baseball tickets, exquisite wines, vacation packages, jewelry, Broadway show tickets, a NFL football signed by former San Diego Charger Lorenzo Neal and LaDanian Tomlinson (current SD Charger) and a skateboard autographed by legend Tony Hawk. Auction-prize donors included Abrakadoodle, Annex Brands, Choice Hotels International, Citrin Cooperman & Co., DLA Piper US LLP, DOC & Associates, Dunkin' Brands, E.H. Anderson, FisherZucker, Haynes & Boone, InterContinental Hotels Group, Kaufman Gildin Robins & Oppenheim LLP, Michael H. Seid & Associates, Moran Industries, Siegel Financial Group and Tinderbox.
