Convention helps agrimarketers make their mark.

The 2004 National Agri-Marketing Association Convention and Trade Show drew nearly 1,200 marketing and communications professionals to Kansas City, Mo., to learn how to "make their mark" on the industry. The program offered a little something for everyone, with sessions covering topics such as sales techniques, agency-client relationships, customer relationship management, and crisis planning. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet and talk with others in the industry in the annual trade show, which offered 50 exhibitors this year. Other events included the presentation of Best of NAMA Awards, a golf tournament, the presentation of the Agri-Business Leader of the Year and Marketer of the Year awards, the student NAMA marketing competition, and world-renowned speakers.
