Convention helps agrimarketers make their mark.
The 2004 National Agri-Marketing Association Convention and Trade
Show drew nearly 1,200 marketing and communications professionals to
Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850). , Mo., to learn how to "make their mark" on the
industry. The program offered a little something for everyone, with
sessions covering topics such as sales techniques, agency-client
relationships, customer relationship management, and crisis planning.
Attendees also had the opportunity to meet and talk with others in the
industry in the annual trade show, which offered 50 exhibitors this
year. Other events included the presentation of Best of NAMA Na·ma n. pl. Nama or Na·mas 1. A member of a people of southwest Africa.
