In the last decade, Denver added more than $7 billion worth of new
attractions, including three new sports stadiums (for seven professional
sports teams), a new aquarium, new airport, new performing arts center,
and new downtown amusement park. Downtown Denver was revitalized with
new shopping, dining, and entertainment centers, including LoDo, a hip
historic district that has come alive with 90 brew pubs, sports bars,
restaurants, and nightspots. And there's more to come with a new wing
for the Denver Art Museum, new opera house, a doubling of the Colorado
Convention Center, and a new 1,100-room Hyatt hotel.
