THE Irish Aviation Authority The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), or Údaras Eithlíochta na hÉireann in Irish, is a state owned company and is responsible for the regulation of air travel in the Republic of Ireland and of the main international airports including Dublin, Cork and Shannon.  had to shut down the radar it uses to guide planes safely in and out of Dublin Airport after two glitches.
