Control4 Sponsors Home Automation Partner Pavilion at 2007 Consumer Electronics Show.


Leading Vendors Participate in Showcasing Range of Solutions Available Today

LAS VEGAS Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  -- Control4, the leader in affordable IP-based home control and entertainment systems, today announced it will sponsor a home automation partner pavilion at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show. The partner pavilion will provide an educational venue where attendees can view a wide range of products that demonstrate the diversity in home automation and control.

"By sponsoring a partner pavilion at CES, we are showcasing a variety of products that are available today and furthering our commitment to build a home automation ecosystem and bring it to the broad market," said Will West, Chief Executive Officer of Control4. Each vendor has a kiosk highlighting its specific technology and the role it plays in the home automation ecosystem including the use of ZigBee, the 802.15.4 standard. The ZigBee standard, which is supported by a broad consortium of companies, enables reliable cost-effective monitoring and control of devices throughout the home.

Companies participating in the pavilion include: Johnson Controls Johnson Controls, Inc. (NYSE: JCI) is a United States company, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and installation of automotive systems, automotive batteries (Optima[1] based in Denver, Colorado) and climate control systems. , Panasonic, Denon, Pioneer USA, Key Digital, Somfy Systems, Inc., Ember, DSC (1) (Digital Signal Controller) A microcontroller and DSP combined on the same chip.
