Control completes major fit-out at luxury home furnishings store.


Control Construction, a leading general contracting and construction management firm based in Katonah Katonah, suburban residential village (1990 pop. 2,400), in Westchester co., SE N.Y., N of New York City. Katohah lies on a reservoir that is part of the Croton River system; the original village site was flooded by the reservoir's creation. , NY, has completed the tenant fit-out of the Madura home decor store in Westchester Mall in White Plains, announces Kenneth P. Martin, president of Control Construction Company, Inc.

Retained by Madura, a French-owned luxury home interiors store with locations in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  and Europe, Control Construction completed the fit-out of the nearly 3,000 s/ f space in November 2005. As the general contractor A general contractor is an organization or individual that contracts with another organization or individual (the owner) for the construction of a building, road or any other execution of work or facility.  for the project, Control Construction built the retail space in the gut-renovated location, including installing lighting and constructing the storefront.

"Our team worked quickly and efficiently on this project," says Martin. "The client, Madura, was very pleased with the results, which reflect their high quality products."

The project took approximately nine weeks and was undertaken in coordination with Control Services' Total Facilities Support Group, which handles the facilities for the mall.

Control Construction has also just been awarded the construction contract for the build-out of a Chili's Restaurant in Harmon Meadow Plaza Harmon Meadow Plaza is a shopping complex in the Meadowlands of Secaucus, New Jersey, approximately six miles form New York City. It is owned by Hartz Mountain Industries, whose corporate offices are located in the Plaza.  on Meadowlands Parkway.

Retained by Brinker International Restaurant Chain, the parent company of Chili's that operates or franchises more than 1,600 restaurants around the world, Control Construction will oversee a gut gut (gut)

 renovation of the 5,000-square-foot restaurant. The project began in December 2005, and is slated for completion in the spring of 2006. The renovation will include a brand new kitchen and all new interiors for the dining area.
