Headquartered in Americus, Ga., it was founded in 1976 by businessman Millard Fuller and his wife. has mobilized for an unprecedented rebuilding effort in New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded , and coatings industry volunteers will be part of this extraordinary mission. In conjunction with ICE 2006, volunteers from Dow Corning Dow Corning is a multinational corporation headquartered in Midland, Michigan, USA. Dow Corning specializes in silicon and silicone-based technology, offering more than 7,000 products and services. Dow Corning is equally owned by The Dow Chemical Company and Corning, Inc. and FSCT FSCT Federation of Societies for Coating Technology FSCT Fire Support Control Terminal will be working side by side on the Habitat for Humanity building project.
