Contractors seeking steel price adjustment.The Association of General Contractors board of directors has responded to the steel price escalation by approving a resolution urging public and private owners to permit steel price adjustments in both new and existing contracts. Contractors meeting last week at AGC's annual convention recently reported a variety of problems related to steel. Various contractors reported their suppliers are, or soon will be, allocating rebar re·bar n. 1. A rod or bar used for reinforcement in concrete or asphalt pourings. 2.
