Contractors announce new officers and directors.

The Contractors' Association of Greater New York has announced its new Officers and Directors for the 2004-2005 term.

The announcement was made at the association's 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting in March at the New York Palace Hotel.

In addition to announcing the new officers, the program included a special video tribute to John A. Cavanagh who was named Chairman Emeritus after serving on the Board since the organization's inception, as well as providing critical leadership at the time of the Association's founding in 1984.

CAGNY has long been known as an association of leading construction managers and general contractors in the New York metropolitan area.

Its member companies include AMEC Construction Management, Inc.; Bovis Lend Lease LMB, Inc.; Builders Group; Cauldwell Wingate Company, Inc.; HRH Construction LLC; Plaza Construction Corporation; and Turner Construction Co., Inc.

The newly elected Officers include: chairman James Abadie, senior vice president and principal in charge Bovis Lend Lease LMB, Inc.; president James McKenna, senior vice president and general manager Turner Construction Co., Inc..
