Seventy-five contractors recently graduated from the Los Angeles
Unified School District The Los Angeles Unified School District (the "LAUSD") is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California and the second-largest in the United States. Only the New York City Department of Education has a larger student population. Small Business Boot Camp Software from Apple that enables an Intel x86-based Macintosh to host the Windows XP operating system. Boot Camp is used to divide the hard disk into Windows and Mac partitions, to install the necessary drivers and to create a dual boot environment. . The boot camp is part
of the LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA) Small Business Program, meant to increase the pool of
qualified firms that compete for LAUSD bond-funded school construction
contracts. The Small Business Boot Camp teaches small contractors how to
improve their competitive edge in gaining public sector contracts.
