Contract Wins Fuel Growth for IPC across EMEA; New Trading Solutions Contracts in Switzerland and Bahrain; Key Expansion Projects Underway in the Region.

LONDON -- IPC Information Systems, a leading provider of mission-critical trading floor communications solutions for the global financial services industry, announced today that a growing number of investment firms across Europe and the Middle East are deploying integrated trading systems and services supplied and managed by IPC. New implementations across the region demonstrate IPC's broad capabilities in delivering resilient trading solutions.

New customer contracts demonstrate IPC's continued expansion in, and commitment to, key financial centres in the region, and include Martin Brokers in Switzerland, and Ahli United Bank in Bahrain.

--Martin Brokers, a leading brokerage headquartered in London, selected IPC to support its new trading floor operations in Lausanne, because IPC offered a single source solution to provide and manage the trading turrets, dedicated voice services, LAN to LAN connectivity, Internet Access, structured cabling, PSTN and professional consulting services.

--Ahli United Bank, Bahrain's fastest growing domestic bank, has chosen to roll-out IPC's Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) trading system in its new dealing room. The IQMX voice dealing technology implemented at the bank will be supported by IPC under a five-year full managed services contract to ensure secure communications.

IPC is committed to supporting growth in the financial services community throughout the EMEA region and as such is expanding its presence, its network reach and customer support infrastructure. Key expansion projects include:

--A new EMEA headquarters located at Tower House, London including a hardened network operations centre (NOC), as well as a state-of-the art customer demonstration centre.

--A new Global Solutions Operations Centre (GSOC) in Frankfurt offering local service and support to Central European customers. The GSOC combines the functions of the Help Desk, Systems Support and Network Services Support; thereby assuring customers of consistent and outstanding service levels.

--A new network Point of Presence (PoP) in Edinburgh to connect the growing number of banks, brokerages and asset managers located in the metropolitan area.
