This joint marketing and distribution agreement will enable companies to develop business opportunities through Web services.

The inclusion of Contivo's Enterprise Integration Modeling Solution (EIM) technology in Actional's SOAPswitch(TM) Web services gateway enables SOAPswitch customers to create sophisticated transformations that combine data from multiple sources into a single data structure to quickly achieve their Web services goals. Complex Web services development, data integration, mapping and transformation are major development tasks traditionally requiring significant manual programming. With access to the Contivo Analyst and Contivo EIM Server, customers can simplify the mapping of complex transactions by modeling and automatically generating run-time code from native applications into SOAP (Services Oriented Access Protocol) and other Web services languages, schemas and protocols.
