(Nasdaq:CNSW), the leading provider of eAsset Management solutions, Tuesday announced the release of a new integration using PowerGen, a tool for automating the build process for PowerBuilder applications from E. Crane Computing, that will offer new capabilities for enhanced change management functionality to better serve the market needs for the enterprisewide management of PowerBuilder software assets.

E. Crane Computing provides leading expertise and supplier presence in the PowerBuilder developer market. PowerGen has earned a solid reputation for producing reliable results, improving the quality of the build process and achieving significant cost savings. Approximately 500 companies worldwide have adopted it.

PowerGen provides the much-needed functionality that Continuus PowerBuilder developers require for day-to-day operation. Most PowerBuilder development shops already use the PowerGen utilities alongside with Continuus CM Synergy(TM); adding the functionality directly to the Continuus PowerBuilder integration provides users with a much friendlier development environment.

PowerGen improves the synchronization process between PowerBuilder and Continuus CM Synergy by implementing a proprietary import technology called Bootstrap Import. The interface designed for this integration, combined with the Bootstrap Import and automated build functions, provides a fully automated build process for PowerBuilder projects.
