Continuity acquires two.

Compliance Services Group of Des Moines, Iowa, and Kirschler Peterson & Associates of Atlanta have been sold to Continuity Control of New Haven, Conn.

The acquisitions will expand the New Haven company's business geographically and help support the client list that has grown to 214 credit unions and community banks, Continuity Control said.

"Our commitment is to provide leading technology innovation and expert people to support our clients' compliance needs," said Andy Greenawalt, Continuity Control founder and CEO. "The addition of KPA and CSG furthers this objective, as we bring clients a staff that includes former examiners, noted authors and trainers."

CMG founder Jennifer McCollough and KPA principal Lori Peterson are both certified regulatory compliance managers and will join Continuity Control as senior compliance strategists, the company said.

"Their strong desire to help alleviate the burdens of increasing government oversight aligns them well with our company mission," said Pam Perdue, chief compliance strategist for Continuity Control.

The three-year-old company provides consulting services and its Bankers Assistant and Credit Union Assistant programs, which include RegAdvisor, software that monitors and analyzes regulatory changes and quickly modifies a financial institution's compliance programs in response, the company said.
