:ORG) today announced the number of US medical centers that have ordered and re-ordered Apligraf(R) and May commercial unit sales unit sales

"While there was a slow down in unit sales in the week heading into the Memorial Day holiday, interest in Apligraf continued to grow as reflected by its broadening user base and the largest increase to date in sites re-ordering the product for the first time," said Alan Tuck, Chief Strategic Officer. "Several important events are planned by Novartis in June, further increasing Apligraf exposure. These include educational events at the American Diabetes Association The American Diabetes Association, or the ADA, is an American health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching hundreds of  meeting, at which the Deaconness Joslin Foot Center will be presenting data on Apligraf in diabetic foot ulcers."
