Contingent Launches Plan to Acquire IT Companies Across Region.

CINCINNATI -- To help support and sustain its rapidly growing national IT services business, Contingent Network Services (www.contingent.net) announced today that it will launch an active campaign to identify and acquire related technology companies and operations. The search will begin in the local Cincinnati metropolitan area during the initial phase of the campaign, and will focus on candidates with specific resources that can help Contingent meet the rapidly growing needs of its current client base. The company has numerous sources of capital identified and has engaged capital advisors to help navigate the funding process. Careful planning and execution has guided Contingent to its current level of success, and that same discipline will be applied to this endeavor to ensure a positive outcome.

Founded in 1984 and sold in the early 1990s to a Dayton, OH-based manufacturer, Contingent broke away as a wholly separate company again in 2002 and moved its headquarters to Cincinnati in 2003. Contingent doubled its sales from $3 million in 2003 to over $8 million in 2005, and is targeting sales of $12 million to $17 million in 2006. With no debt, the company has been profitable every year since its buyout Buyout

Contingent's aggressive acquisition strategy is one of many efforts designed to support its growing roster of Fortune 500 retail, financial, telecommunications, industrial and manufacturing clients.

"For several years now, we have operated successfully under the regional and national radar, designing and managing network integration and technology solutions for some of the most high-profile companies in the country," said Managing Partner Mark Stuhlreyer. "Our growth now demands that we spread the word about our success, and invite the region's best technology firms and professionals to join us.
