Continental matches fare reductions.


HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 1995--Continental Airlines today announced it will match the fare reduction initiatives of both American Airlines American Airlines

Major U.S. airline. American was created through a merger of several smaller U.S. airlines and incorporated in 1934. It continued to buy the routes of other airlines, becoming an international carrier in the 1970s; its routes include South America, the
 and America West in competing markets.

In markets where it competes with American, Continental is reducing fares by up to 40 percent. Tickets are available for purchase today through Feb. 24 for travel between Feb. 21 and June 15. Tickets are non-refundable and require a Saturday night Saturday Night may refer to: Music

Tickets are non- refundable and require a Saturday night stay. Blackout dates are to New Orleans Feb. 23-25 and from New Orleans March 1-2. Other restrictions apply.
