Concourse D, a 160,000 square-foot facility, is connected to Concourse C, Continental's primary Cleveland hub facility, via an underground tunnel.

The new concourse boasts as many as 12 gates for either larger Continental jets or regional jets and 24 turboprop turboprop: see turbine.
Hybrid engine that provides jet thrust and also drives a propeller. It is similar to the turbojet except that an added turbine, behind the combustion chamber, works through a shaft and speed-reducing gears to turn a loading positions. Continental has the ability to convert the 24 turboprop positions into 12 additional gates as need arises. The new facility eliminates shuttle bus transfers from gates to Continental Express flights.
The new concourse has the ability to accommodate a variety of Continental aircraft including Continental turboprop planes and regional jets as well as Continental's 128-seat Boeing 737.
In conjunction with a proposed new runway, the new facility will dramatically increase Cleveland's flight capabilities.

In Cleveland, Continental and Continental Express operate 268 flights daily. Added service from Cleveland to London will begin June 30.
