Continental's Complex IT Infrastructure

BindView Corporation (NASDAQ:BVEW), a leading provider of IT risk management solutions, announced today that leading U.S. carrier Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) has selected BindView's administration, migration and security management solutions to manage their enterprise-wide infrastructure. Continental will use BindView's solutions to administer and manage their configurations of Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Microsoft Exchange.

-- bv-Control for Windows 2000/NT -- an administration and security management solution that pinpoints and eliminates threats to the safety, and integrity of Windows NT or Windows 2000 based networks. bv-Control for Windows 2000/NT will enable Continental to centrally monitor their global IT infrastructure and provide administrative maintenance as needed.

-- bv-Control for Microsoft Exchange, a leading e-services solution that effectively pinpoints and identifies threats to the security, integrity and availability of Microsoft Exchange environments. Continental's initial implementation of BindView's solutions showed that bv-Control Microsoft Exchange can reduce the time required to audit Continental's entire global infrastructure and over 15,000 Microsoft Exchange users from days to hours.

-- bv-Admin for Windows 2000 Migration, which Continental has already used to assist in their migration efforts, provides a complete solution for migrating to and administering Windows 2000, including a single point of administration for managing a mixed environment.

-- bv-Control for Active Directory provides security, configuration and management capabilities for the Active Directory environment.
