.B and CAI.A) today announced it has entered into a codeshare agreement Code sharing is a business term which was first originated in the airline industry in 1990 when the Australian airline, Qantas Airways and the US's American Airlines combined services between an array of US domestic cities and Australian cities.  with Gulfstream International Airlines Gulfstream International Airlines is an US airline based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. It operates scheduled and charter services to Florida and Bahamas and the Caribbean. It operates as a Continental Connection carrier for Continental Airlines. , Inc., commencing in April 1997, on flights connecting to Florida and the Bahamas.

Gulfstream International will serve as a Continental Connection regional airline providing service throughout Florida as well as to Freeport, Nassau, Treasure Cay, Eleuthera and Marsh Harbor in the Bahamas with over 160 flights daily. Under the terms of the agreement, Continental will handle all reservations for Gulfstream International and all flights will appear as Continental flight numbers.
