Contigo i2i Chosen by ZD Events as a Vehicle for New Internet-Based Service Offerings.

ZDEvents to provide Web-based educational seminars and conference

programs using Contigo's new i2i Internet Conferencing system

Contigo(TM) Software Inc. (www.contigo.com), the pioneer and leading provider of Web-based conferencing products for sales, marketing and training applications, and ZD Events, the leading producer of information technology tradeshows and conferences, Monday announced that the two companies have entered into a strategic relationship to enhance the event experience.

This alliance will enable ZD Events to host interactive, online educational programs as part of their overall strategy of providing a complete virtual forum for learning, evaluating and comparing the solutions that are driving the new Internet See Web 2.0 and Internet2.  economy.

ZD Events will use Contigo's i2i(TM) Internet Conferencing System in this new endeavor to augment its success in producing traditional face-to-face trade shows and conferences with the power and reach of the Internet.

The first two products resulting from the ZD Events/Contigo relationship are: COMDEX The former, premier computer trade show in the U.S. Although it grew into an end user event, it was originally created for dealers and distributors (it was the COMputer Dealers EXposition).  University - an on-going, comprehensive curriculum of online educational courses for technology decision makers; and the Vendor Online Seminar Program - an opportunity for vendors to develop virtual seminars to be transmitted on the ZD Events website.
