The California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  Lottery's "The Big Spin(R)" show, having aired Saturday, March 27, 2004, made some very happy Californians $322,500 richer.

One of these happy players was Tammie Parrot, a chauffeur from Cudahy, who looks forward to driving straight to the bank to deposit her $90,000 "Fantasy 5 Dream Machine" winnings. Parrot purchased her ticket at Rainbow Liquor liquor /li·quor/ (lik´er) (li´kwor) pl. liquors, liquo´res   [L.]

Michelle Gliko, a student from Roseville and Cleveland Johnson, a hospital employee from San Leandro San Leandro (săn lēăn`drō), city (1990 pop. 68,223), Alameda co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1872. Metal, wood, and paper products; chemicals; leather goods; foods and beverages; medical equipment; lighting fixtures; and  "came up aces" in the first round of "Aces High." In round two, Gliko won a chance to spin the wheel and ultimately walked away with $75,000. Gliko, who bought her "Big Spin Scratchers(R)" ticket at 7-Eleven in Roseville said she looks forward to "buying a new car and going to college." Also walking away with some additional pocket change was Johnson who was delighted to win $5,000 in prize money.

"The Big Spin(R)" show is just one of the many entertainment choices offered by the California Lottery lottery, scheme for distributing prizes by lot or other method of chance selection to persons who have paid for the opportunity to win. How to play "Fantasy 5 Dream Machine"

Contestants on the "Fantasy 5 Dream Machine" game have up to five chances to launch a ball into one of the five bins in the pinball-type game. Each bin represents a cash amount. Prizes are cumulative, but only one ball may land in each bin to claim the prize amount. Contestants appearing on this segment qualify by mailing an entry form to the Lottery after purchasing $5 of Fantasy 5 games on one playslip.

How to play "Aces High"

"Aces High" replaced "California Gold California Gold were an American soccer team, founded in 1998. The team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2006, when the team left the league and the franchise was terminated. " and is the newest game on "The Big Spin(R)" show. Ten "Aces High" contestants will either win a dollar amount ranging from $1,750 to $4,000 or get one of two "Ace" cards. The two contestants who end up with an "Ace" card advance to the second round. The object of the second round is to get a better hand than the opponent, the best hand being four of a kind. The contestant with the lower hand wins $5,000 and the contestant with the higher hand goes on to spin the wheel, for a chance to win $3 million!
