Tridion has launched a range of products designed to aid companies manage content. These include:

Tridion R5 version 5.I., which includes the creation of 'Virtual Folders', to allow users to save and store the results of their searches in personalised compartments. This eliminates the need to search the entire content repository--often consisting of thousands of documents every time a document needs to be located.

The solution's document management capabilities have also been enhanced. All documents can now be stored in a single, central source, allowing content to be repurposed for use in Intranets, extranets and websites. In addition, users can now search within unstructured (such as presentations and PDF files) as well as structured content. This means that other members of the organisation can retrieve and re-use information that was previously only available to the original author. Upgrades to security and platform compatibility (R5 V5 now supports Oracle 9i) mean that the new version is the most secure, reliable and scalable to date. Tridion Content Porter allows organisations to extract and re-purpose content residing in legacy systems, deriving more value from content by redeploying it on websites or intranets. This solution also simplifies the complex process of 'copying content, or elements of content, between different development, testing and production environments.

Tridion Word Connector 3.0 allows end-users to work directly in Word, rather than using the interface of the content management system. Documents are saved as XML components, enabling them to be plugged directly back into the content management system without the editor requiring any technical knowledge, resulting in simpler editing for text-heavy business processes.
