Content Protection in SDHC Memory Card


SD (secure digital) audio facilitates the users and helps them in easy movement of the music libraries among different versions of secure digital enabled digital devices for including car stereos, audio players, cellular phones, computers and similar other mobile equipments.

SD-card association after the success of the SD memory cards has extended the SD card version and introduced new SD card with enhanced capacity known as the SDHC (SD high capacity) memory card. This new specification of SD memory card extends its capacity beyond 2 Gigabytes. This extended SD card version was developed to new requirements and demands of new advanced generations of cell phones, camcorders, A/V devices, telecommunication devices, still & digital cameras and personal digital assistants (PDA). Consumers now demand new features of their digital equipments and therefore the SD card association is adding new technologies to the SD memory cards.

SD video enables the consumers to watch and record digital H-264 television programs by using their cellular phones (SD video enabled). The operators of cell phones can secure the downloaded content to their mobile network phones by the description of secure digital binding. The content bounds to the mobile phone device and therefore the unauthorized and unapproved copying of data to the other computers or devices is prohibited.
