Consumers Can Now `Tell the World' about Their Product and Service Experiences; New Web Site Lets Consumers Make Informed Purchasing Decisions with Latest Information.

After years of buying thousands of products that broke too quickly or did not perform properly, and interacting with hundreds of customer "no-service" providers, Bryan Bryan, city (1990 pop. 55,002), seat of Brazos co., E central Tex.; inc. 1872. Business & Product Reports (B&PR) is an unbiased, independent resource with no affiliations to any company or service provider. Its content is unbiased since the consumers who have purchased and used the products or services are providing their own feedback. "While there are consumer product reviews available on the Web, they often are based on lab-tests that may not actually simulate simulate - simulation  real wear and tear, or worse yet, there are no control mechanisms to monitor the data entered or its truthfulness," said Wetzel. "We wanted to create a site for real consumers, by real consumers. A place where people could vent about a poor encounter or equally praise a good product or service experience. But more importantly, B&PR's Web site is designed to allow members to search on reviews, so that they will never have to make another uninformed buying decision again," he added.

Visitors can search on the product and service reviews, but in order to log a complaint or get a detailed product or service report; they need to become a member. Currently, membership is only $1 for the year to encourage members to join. In January January: see month.  2004, the annual membership will be $12. Early focus group research shows that consumers are happy to pay $1 a month to have a place to log a complaint and conduct product research before making a purchase that could cost them hundreds of dollars later.

The site also has other areas of interest, including the Consumer Help Corner which features experts in a variety of categories providing consumers with tips and tricks on home repair, interior design, and saving money while shopping and much more.
