"As the official beer sponsor of the NFL, we sent our Silver Bullet Train on a retrospective journey we think will excite fans and get them talking."

Developed by Foote Cone and Belding Chicago, "Coors Light Super Train" combines the work of noted Hollywood effects shop Digital Domain and director Fred Raimondi to deliver a historical look at the memorable moments of past Super Bowls. The spot also features the song, "Love Train," by Hall of Fame R&B act The O'Jays.

The spot opens with fans witnessing a handshake between Kansas City Coach Hank Stram and Green Bay Coach Vince Lombardi just before the kick-off of Super Bowl I. The Silver Bullet Train arrives at the stadium bringing with it cold, refreshing Coors Light and then it rolls on through a montage of Super Bowl moments from dominant teams of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Through the ad, fans will relive exciting moments such as Joe Namath guaranteeing a Jets win in Super Bowl III Super Bowl III was the third AFL-NFL Championship Game in professional American football, but the first to officially bear the name "Super Bowl" (The two previous AFL-NFL Championship Games would retroactively be called "Super Bowls" as well). ; Hank Stram delivering his famous "Pump it in there, baby!" quote; Marcus Allen breaking Super Bowl rushing records in Super Bowl XVIII Super Bowl XVIII was the 18th championship game of the modern National Football League (NFL). The game was played on January 22, 1984 at Tampa Stadium in Tampa, Florida following the 1983 regular season. ; the Pittsburgh Steelers' famed "Steel Curtain;" and other historical moments.

The 60-second ad, which will run through the end of the NFL season, is the latest in the series of Coors Light Love Train advertising spots that debuted in April. The ads have received an enthusiastic response from consumers and the trade, and internal research indicates an increase in purchase intent and positive brand image with target consumers after viewing the Love Train spots.
