Consumer web site unveiled.


A Web site where consumers can file and research complaints against insurers was unveiled by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is an Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which seeks to organize the regulatory and supervisory efforts of the various state insurance commissioners from around the United States. . And while insurers approved of the concept, they questioned how the database would be used.

The site (www.naic.org/servlet/cis.Main) was developed for consumers so they can be better-informed insurance buyers, said Montana Montana (mŏntăn`ə), Rocky Mt. state in the NW United States.
