On Tuesday, May 23, 2000 the Better Business Bureau in Silicon Valley will present the first annual summit on ethical e-commerce e-commerce, commerce conducted over the Internet, most often via the World Wide Web. E-commerce can apply to purchases made through the Web or to business-to-business activities such as inventory transfers. .

To be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose from 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., the event will focus on the dramatic role customer trust plays in the success and growth of e-commerce businesses.
