Robert Westfall, CFN's national director of mobility services. Westfall stated that at the closing of the real estate transaction, the dividend portion of the benefit returns $5 to consumers for every $1,000 of the home's selling price or $5 for every $1,000 of the purchase price when a referral is made by a qualified network broker.

The managed relocation portion of this benefit matches professionally qualified real estate brokers and agents who may best meet the needs of the consumer. "Expert marketing assistance is an integral part of the cash-back program," said Westfall. "The consumer now has an advocate in the buying and selling process."

Westfall stated that a move by an employee may qualify if it involves the selling or purchasing of a home and meets the limited qualifications of the program. For example, the move may be across the street or to another state, and may apply to a first or second home purchase or sale. The program is also portable; employees who leave their company can continue to use and receive the benefits of the CFN program whenever they buy or sell a home.
