: GTXO), a leader in GPS tracking and location-transmitting technology platforms, has named Jb Bittner Eriksen as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO (Chief Technical Officer) The executive responsible for the technical direction of an organization. See CIO and salary survey. ).

Mr. Bittner Eriksen brings over 30 years of experience in the development of consumer electronics to GTX Corp. During the past 15 years he has designed products for companies such as Kodak, Philips, Hewlett-Packard, Ricoh, and Sony. Previously, as the President of OpenDisc Systems, he used his mastery of technology, business processes, digital imaging, and customer needs to produce revolutionary OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  components.

As the director of the Optical Storage division of Interactive Systems (a Kodak Subsidiary) he led the OEM storage systems group and its development of photo-on-disk products, the key elements of Kodak's Photo CD[TM] technology. Prior to the Kodak experience, he worked as a Section Manager at Hewlett-Packard's HP-Labs, managing international development teams in the medical and digital imaging arena.

Additionally, Mr. Bittner Eriksen was a Research Faculty Associate at Colorado State University Colorado State University, at Fort Collins; land-grant with state and federal support; chartered 1870, opened 1879 as an agricultural college, assumed present name in 1957. There is a veterinary teaching hospital, an agricultural campus, and a research campus. .

At GTX Corp, he will assume responsibility for the development of the company's gpVector[TM] platform architecture and the management of all research and development activities. He accepted his position April 1 and will report to the CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. .
