!(TM) 4.1 software, from Informative Graphics, within Constructware's Internet-based project management application. Key benefits for clients center on the ability to view complex CAD images faster and with enhanced fidelity and to preview large multipage documents as they download from the Web.

"Constructware was the first in the construction industry to deploy the Brava viewer technology in late 1999, and our close relationship with them continues to this day," said Duane Green, director of business development for Informative Graphics. "They were first to deploy our 4.0 version earlier this year and the resulting field testing and feedback played a large role in the 4.1 version available today."

The April 2003 release of Brava 4.0 featured a new viewing kernel that delivers superior fidelity for CAD files, images, documents, and PDF files See PDF. ; instant zooms and pans; and a Magnifier view tool for real-time eye glass views on large drawings. Other features include full-text searching within documents and drawings, CAD line weight support, snap-to-drawing geometry for accurate measuring, display of attribute data, animated displays, and significant enhancements to printing.

The 4.1 release emphasizes greater throughput and speed for multiple concurrent users and provides administrative tools that allow Constructware's network specialists to monitor system performance for an optimal client experience. "It's like having an eight-lane highway instead of a two-lane road," said Ryan Watts Ryan Watts (born May 18, 1988) is a footballer formerly of Brentford F.C..
