Construction scholarship program accepting applications.

* Applications are now available for the annual scholarships funded by ConstructMyFuture.com, an initiative that promotes construction as a rewarding career choice.

The deadline to apply for 2007 scholarships is Feb. 5, 2007, and details are available at www.constructmyfuture.com.

The ConstructMyFuture.com annual scholarship program is open to students and construction industry professionals, with funds to be used for higher education tuition or the purchase of tools to improve worker productivity. Three scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded.

ConstructMyFuture.com was launched in 2001 to provide information about the construction industry and its career opportunities to teenage students as well as their teachers, counselors and parents. It was developed by three industry trade groups--the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF AEDF - Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation), the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
