Construction is slower in Albanian regions: difference in tempo of building of sports halls.

The problems related to denationalization of the building land are slowing down the building of sports halls in Tetovo, Gostivar, Saraj, Poroj, Lipkovo, and Slupcane. The Agency for Youth and Sports explained that the reason for this is the lack of cooperation with the local self-government since year 2006. "The poor coordination among the Albanian representatives in the Government and the local self-government in year 2006 was the main obstacle to the building of these sports halls," Fevzi Mani, deputy director of the Agency for Youth and Sports, said. Fourteen of a total of 35 sports halls have been built so far. The remaining sports halls will be built by the end of this year.
