Construction Writers Association Presents 2009 Marketing Communications Awards in Chicago.CHICAGO -- The Construction Writers Association (CWA CWA Clean Water Act (33 USC) CWA Communications Workers of America CWA Concerned Women for America CWA CEN Workshop Agreement (European pre-normative document) CWA County Warning Area CWA Clean Water Action ) recently presented its ninth annual Marketing Communications Awards at the organization's fall conference in Chicago. Entries in three categories--corporate communications, public relations and advertising--plus the T. Randolph Russell Award for external newsletters--were evaluated by a panel of judges on the basis of editorial content, graphic design and effectiveness in achieving the stated marketing goals. Entries were received from associations, advertising agencies, PR firms, large and small contractors, trade associations and publishers. "The communications experts gathered for this year's judging commented throughout the day on the increasingly high standards being set by the entrants in all categories," says Mike Anderson, senior editor with Construction Equipment magazine and chair of the CWA Marketing Communications Awards.
