Construction Events Announces Partnership with Seven-Star Events for Green Construction 2006 Show.


PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Construction Events today announced a partnership with Seven-Star Events, Inc. to manage event activities related to Green Construction 2006. Green Construction 2006 is a co-located event with Construction 2006. The events will be held April 12-13, 2006 at the San Jose San Jose, city, United States

Green Construction 2006 is a unique event combining sustainable building education, training, exhibits and live demonstrations with extensive business development opportunities.

Most building professionals believe that energy and resource efficient construction practices are critically important. Green Construction will bring the entire building community together to focus on the important issue of sharing green practices and discussing ways to further recognize and encourage sustainable building practices. Attendees include: Commercial Developers, General Contractors, Home Builders, Specialty Contractors, Engineers, Architects, Government Officials, Construction Procurement Professionals, Building Owners and Managers, RE professionals and others affiliated with the field.

The 2 day event features a full program of instructional sessions and workshops covering environmentally friendly Environmentally friendly, also referred to as nature friendly, is a term used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal harm on the environment.[1]  building, design and construction topics as well as ongoing green operations and maintenance. To round off the business program, the event features presenters introducing new projects and providing insight from the buyer's side of the market.

Green Construction 2006 potential speakers are invited to submit session proposals on all aspects of environmentally friendly and sustainable building and construction. (A listing of suggested topics is available at www.greenconstruction2006.com). Speakers are also invited to submit abstracts for the co-located Construction 2006 conference at www.construction2006.com. Presentations should be non-commercial and not promote a particular product or company unless appropriate. The abstract submission deadline is December 31, 2005.
