Construction Data Corp. buys BidTool.
CDC said the deal expands its regional coverage to 30 states, expands the breadth of information supplied and adds additional resources to expand its informational service to its subscriber base. BidTool is a provider of regionally focused information to the commercial construction industry in Illinois, Wisconsin and Colorado. The company supplies a range of commercial construction project information to its subscribers via online platforms and email. Users can choose information using the specific geography, project types and stages of construction and can view plans and specs, and spec books.
Construction Data News supplies construction data and project information for the commercial construction industry through 30 regional reports in 18 states. It carries all CSI division codes in Maine, new Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida and Texas.
Information products are targeted to general contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and manufacturers reps and are available in print or online. They are divided into four publication families organized geographically, including "New England Construction News" for all New England, "Construction Data News" for the greater New York area, "Philadelphia Construction News" for greater Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, and "CDC News" for all other locations.
