The survey shows optimism about the Michigan region, economy, and the construction industry specifically. Results also indicate that work opportunities and client satisfaction is up, new construction continues to dominate work opportunities, and the housing market continues to be strong. The results come from two surveys submitted by construction contractors and clients. CAM and Plante & Moran have conducted these surveys for almost 10 years. CAM members report their volumes have increased by at least 10% from previous levels and owners are planning to build new and larger projects in the future.
