Construction, Design Industries Derive Economic & Green Benefits with DigiContractor's UPHOTOMEASURE.

Many Companies are Paying Closer Attention to the Bottom Line

Contractors and Professionals Must Work Harder to Turn Every Prospect into a Client

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angles-based DigiContractor, Inc., makers of the revolutionary UPHOTOMEASURE (formerly iPhotoMEASURE) software tool that accurately and efficiently measures anything within a photo, even at angles, taken with any digital camera, has helped many companies achieve a significant time and money savings on projects.

"The Los Angeles area has been particularly hard hit," said DigiContractor CEO and founder Paul Minor. "It's also one of the most difficult markets to work in, because the city is so large and the traffic makes it tough to visit multiple job sites in a single day. With UPHOTOMEASURE, the initial on-site appointment is no longer necessary, so contractors get more done in less time. They're able to use UPHOTOMEASURE technology to dimension off of any photograph assisting with quoting jobs with their subcontractors and supply houses."

"Now I can tell my clients, if you need information on a job, just send me a picture," said Los Angeles contractor Pete Robbins. "L.A. is such a big city. Using UPHOTOMEASURE means I don't have to drive out to each site. The time savings is terrific, plus with the software I always have a record of the job site at each phase of development. Not to mention the money I saved on Gasoline."

UPHOTOMEASURE products are easy to use. The user takes pictures of the project to be measured. The digital photo is then transferred to a computer and opened with UPHOTOMEASURE. With a click of the mouse, any object within the picture can be accurately measured. This provides a quick and efficient solution for professions where size, distances and measurements are required.

The software measures multiple planes from one image and has 3D angle capabilities. The measurements can then be exported to and archived for future reference. UPHOTOMEASURE currently works with any PC and has web based pay-as-you-go versions available.

"I hear stories like this every day," said DigiContractor's Paul Minor. "I am thrilled that we are able to provide a product that is helping professionals in a variety of struggling industries to not only survive, but to prosper. I particularly like the fact that by using our software we are saving money for the user and helping our planet stay 'Green.'"
