Constella Group Names Santo J. Costa to its Board of Directors.

Costa is an attorney with the Raleigh, N.C., law firm Maupin Taylor. Prior to joining Maupin Taylor, he was vice chairman of Quintiles Transnational Corporation from 1999 until 2001. He served as president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Prior to joining Quintiles, Costa spent more than 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He served as senior vice president, administration and general counsel of Glaxo Inc., (now GlaxoSmithKline) one of the world's leading research base pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Costa sat on the company's board of directors and took part in managing the company's significant growth. Costa was also with Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals and Norwich/Eaton Pharmaceuticals.
