Constant Contact Names Thomas Anderson to its Board of Directors.

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Constant Contact([R]), Inc. (www.constantcontact.com), the leading email marketing service for small businesses, associations, and nonprofits, today announced that Thomas Anderson, senior vice president, direct to consumer channel of Sallie Mae, Inc., has been appointed to its board of directors. Anderson brings extensive consumer marketing and business development experience to Constant Contact and will help guide the company's market positioning and brand strategy for continued growth.

Anderson joined Upromise in January 2005 as president and CEO and a member of its board; he was recently appointed senior vice president, direct to consumer channel of Sallie Mae, Inc. after Sallie Mae's acquisition of Upromise in 2006. Anderson has extensive experience in consumer financial services and previously served as CEO of AmeriFee, a medical finance company owned by Capital One. He was also a senior vice president of Capital One, where he ran its credit card campaign focused on young adults, as well as a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he helped lead the Financial Institutions Practice.
