Consolo and Aquino tapped for sought-after spot.

Securing yet another impressive retail assignment, the team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph A. Aquino, executive vice president, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, has been commissioned to exclusively market the retail space at 1012-1014 Second Avenue, in Manhattan's desirable--and ultra elite--Midtown East neighborhood.

Situated between 53rd and 54th Streets, at the base of a striking luxury residential building on Second Avenue, the space features 2,426 s/f on the ground floor and another 3,100 on the concourse level. It also boasts 43 feet of street frontage. "This is a unique opportunity for one retailer to make a splash in a neighborhood known for its well-heeled residents and plentiful office population, or for two retailers to share space in one of the city's wealthiest zip codes zip code

System of postal-zone codes (zip stands for “zone improvement plan”) introduced in the U.S. in 1963 to improve mail delivery and exploit electronic reading and sorting capabilities.
," remarks Consolo in describing the property.

Aquino continues, "For many years, this corridor has been a 'go to' spot for fabulous restaurants and upscale night spots and lounges. Now, with the profusion of new luxury residences--such as the recently constructed and highly successful Milano, Macklowe's newest property, 300 East 53rd Street, which is near completion, and The Veneto, which is in the planning stages, to be completed at the end of 2007--there is an amazing a·maze
