Consolidated Viscount--1996 Exploration Program Begins.VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1996--Consolidated Viscount Resources Ltd. (CVR-VSE) and Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd. (CMV-VSE) are pleased to announce the mobilization of field and drilling crews to the Tasisuak Lake property near Voisey's Bay, Labrador. A proposed minimum 15-hole, 1,500-metre drilling program at Tasisuak will commence immediately. Camp crews have already re-opened the winterized camp and drill preparation is underway. Drilling crews are currently servicing equipment on site and the first hole is expected to be collared late this week. Drilling will commence with several holes targeting the extension of Anomaly "C" where mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. Work is also planned on several of Viscount's 100 percent owned claims. High priority will be given to the Voisey's Bay East claim block located approximately 10 km due east of the Diamond Field's "Eastern Deeps" zone, the Kingurutik claim block and the Hebron Lake claim block. At Kingurutik, airborne geophysics has identified four coincident MAG/EM targets and ground crews have identified several olivine gabbro dykes. Six extensive sulphide zones were identified by ground crews on the Hebron Lake claim block. One of these zones had surface exposures which assayed 0.32 percent Ni and 0.95 percent Cu. Results of a limited VLF/EM survey conducted over this zone were highly encouraging.
