Consolidated Viscount Resources - Labrador claims acquired.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1995--Mr. Len Harris reports: Consolidated Viscount Resources Ltd. has acquired 106 mineral claims totaling 6,360 acres in central Labrador.

The terrain is Archean and only slightly younger than the Voisey Bay area anorthositic intrusives. The claims cover a layered anorthosite anorthosite

Type of igneous rock composed predominantly of calcium-rich feldspar. It is considerably less abundant than either basalt or granite, but the complexes in which it occurs are often immense.

The area was investigated in the 1950's and 1960's for its base metal potential. Several magnetic, electromagnetic and geochemical targets were identified but received little or no follow-up.

There are five separate blocks comprising the 106 claims and each block staked has been covered by airborne magnetic and electro- magnetic surveys. Each block hosts a magnetic or electro-magnetic anomaly or both. Extensive gossans are reported on the claims including one that has been traced for two kilometres in length.

Numerous surface showings exist on the claims. Assessment reports filed in the 1960's show assays of 0.16% cobalt and 0.154% nickel reported in a partly oxidized oxidized

having been modified by the process of oxidation.

The company is currently arranging a program of prospecting and ground geophysics to further define targets in preparation for drilling. Funds necessary to carry out the work program are in place.

The terms of the purchase are $15,300.00 cash and 25,000 free trading shares. This agreement is subject to VSE See DOS/VSE.
