The companies will form a joint venture for the exploration and development of the property. In a report dated July 30, 1996, Jeff Sample, Senior Exploration Geologist for Thyssen Mining, states, "El Condor is favourably located on a well-defined NW-SE trending belt of gold-silver deposits at the north end of the Maricunga Gold Province. It is immediately adjacent to the world-class La Coipa gold-silver deposit and displays identical geological ge·ol·o·gy n. pl. ge·ol·o·gies 1.
