Gold Corp. is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Damoti Lake property, located about 100 miles north of Yellowknife, N.W.T. A major winter drill program is planned, designed to target six zones known to host gold, and to drill to depth. The objectives of this program are to further define the high grade zones found in previous programs as well as to test some attractive new zones in order to initiate the expansion of the gold resource from a 600,000 ounce to a multi-million ounce resource. The first targets to be tested are the Red Mountain, Calf and Octopus zones on the South Peninsula. The former has been drilled and extensions are being sought along strike and down to the base of the iron formation which is known to extend to at least 700 feet depth. The latter zones have not been drilled to any extent in the past. Drilling will continue uninterrupted until the Christmas break.
