Consolidated Pine Channel - Exploration Update.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1996--CONSOLIDATED PINE CHAN (VSE:KPG) Mr. Dale Hoffman, president of Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. (the "Company"), is pleased to report that on claims CBS 8175, S-105445 and the surrounding Consolidated Pine Channel - JNR Resources Inc. joint venture area of interest, in the Northern Mining District, Saskatchewan, a geophysical survey is being completed over recently discovered showings. The geophysics so far appear to further outline different drill targets. Additional sampling has taken place, and the results of fire assays will be released as soon as they are available. Upon completion of a review of all data, drill targets will be selected, with drilling scheduled to commence on September 20th, 1996.

Also, regarding the Asbell Bay property, upon completion of mobilization of men and equipment to the area, a more detailed evaluation will take place, to further determine the extent of copper, molybdenum and gold mineralization on the claims. A fall drilling program has been scheduled for this property.
