HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 8, 1997--Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (NYSE/CGX) today announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire StorterChilds Printing Company, Inc. of Gainesville, Florida Gainesville is the largest city and county seat of Alachua County, Florida.GR6 Gainesville is home to the University of Florida, the largest university of the State University System of Florida and the third-largest university in the United States.  in a stock-for-stock transaction. With the acquisition of StorterChilds, Consolidated Graphics Consolidated Graphics (NYSE "CGX") is a national, commercial printing company based in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1985 by Joe R. Davis, the company has grown to over 70 locations across 26 states and is known as the leading sheetfed, web and digital printing company in North  makes its entry into the attractive Florida printing market. StorterChilds, founded almost 50 years ago, is an award-winning printing company and one of the leading commercial printers in Central Florida
