The discovery hole, hole 9097-02 returned 6.0 g Au/tonne over a width of 6.7 meters or 0.175 oz Au/ton over 22 feet from 169.10 to 175.8 meters. Two other gold intersections were located higher up in the same hole. - 1.1 g Au/tonne over 2.5 meters (85-87.5 m) and - 1.4 g Au/tonne over 9.9 meters (104.10 - 114.0 m) Gold values were also encountered in the two other holes located on parallel structures. They are: -0-
- Hole 9097-01: -1.5 g Au/tonne over 6.0 m, (134.5 to 140.5 m)
-0.6 g Au/tonne over 5.8 m, (181.6 to 187.4 m)
- Hole 9097-03: -1.9 g Au/tonne over 5.8 m, (26.7 to 30.0 m)
- Hole 9097-04
& 9097-05: -were drilled on separate targets but failed to
return gold values.
- All holes were drilled at a 50 degres to 60 degres angle to the
N.W.
- All samples analyzed by fire assay.
The company is preparing a follow-up program intended to better understand the behaviour and the extent of the gold bearing horizons. CONTACT: Consolidated Gold Hawk Resources Inc.
