Consolidated Freightways Announces 4th Quarter Earnings Conference Call.

VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 2001

Consolidated Freightways Consolidated Freight was the 3rd biggest trucking company in the US. In the 1930s they started their own truck manufacturing operation, Freightliner, now part of DaimlerChrysler.  Corporation (Nasdaq:CFWY CFWY Consolidated Freightways ) will host a conference call on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time) to review results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2000.

The fiscal 2000 results will be released on Jan. 25 before the market opens and will be available on the company web site at www.cf.com.

The call is open to all shareholders and the general public and can be accessed in a listen-only mode by dialing 312/470-0017 and asking the conference operator for the Consolidated Freightways Conference Call.

The conference call will also be Web cast live through the Company's Web site (www.cf.com) or through www.streetfusion.com. An on-line audio replay will be available at these same Web sites through Feb. 28, 2001.

An audio replay will also be available for two weeks following the conference call by dialing 402/998-1583, Pass Code: 159.
