Consolidated Biofuels: The Bahrain Connection.

CHICAGO -- Today, Consolidated Biofuels, Inc., a Chicago-based public company (Pinksheets:CSBF), through its CEO Daniel Honeycutt, announced his invitation by His Excellency Dr. Naser Al Belooshi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, to attend a private reception at the Kingdom's Embassy in Washington D.C. on June 20, 2007. Mr. Honeycutt expressed that he, "is very honored by His Excellency's invitation" and that he has responded to His Excellency's staff that he plans to attend the invited reception honoring the "House of Representatives".

During the conference, Mr. Honeycutt was substantially quoted in the Bahrain Tribune, after a personal interview conducted by Ms. Siriwattasit of the Tribune. From that interview, Mr. Honeycutt was partially quoted as saying, "Bahrain possesses more than $300 billion worth of equity in the financial sector alone, over 30 per cent of which represent idle funds that could be used to capitalize on increasing opportunities to incubate its nascent alternative energy industry into a multi-billion dollar market within the next 10 years." Interestingly, the Bahrainian banking, finance and investment communities are very sophisticated in the energy sector and have projected petro prices to plateau before 2014. Therefore, they are now very anxious to diversify their overall investment portfolio into the alternative energy sector including biodiesel and other strong asset plays in the United States.
